Day 1

Zanzibar → Mikumi National Park → Zanzibar
Your day begins early with a pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar Island and transfer to the airport for your scheduled morning flight to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and begin a full-day game drive in a 4×4 open safari vehicle. Mikumi National Park is renowned for its open savannah, often compared to the Serengeti, and offers excellent opportunities to spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the natural beauty of the park. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, return to the airstrip for your afternoon flight (approximately 16:00 hrs) back to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
