Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Pre-climb briefing and equipment check with your guide.
Day 1
Altitude: 1,860 m to 2,700 m | Hiking Time: 4–5 hours
Arusha → Marangu Gate → Mandara Hut
Begin your trek through lush rainforest, rich in birdlife and primates
Day 2
Altitude: 2,700 m to 3,720 m | Hiking Time: 6–8 hours
Mandara Hut → Horombo Hut
Transition into moorland with spectacular views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Day 3
Hiking Time: 2–3 hours
Acclimatization Day – Horombo Hut
Acclimatization hike to Zebra Rocks with panoramic mountain views.
Day 4
Altitude: 3,720 m to 4,700 m | Hiking Time: 6–8 hours
Horombo Hut → Kibo Hut
Cross the alpine desert toward Kibo Hut and prepare for summit night.
Day 5
Altitude: 4,700 m to 5,895 m to 3,720 m | Hiking Time: 10–14 hours
Kibo Hut → Uhuru Peak → Horombo Hut
Midnight summit attempt to Uhuru Peak. Witness a breathtaking sunrise before descending to Horombo Hut.

Horombo Hut → Marangu Gate → Arusha
Final descent through rainforest to Marangu Gate. Receive your summit certificate and transfer back to Arusha.
