Day 1
Return scenic flights (Zanzibar – Nyerere – Zanzibar) | Private full-day game drive in 4x4 safari vehicle | Picnic lunch in the African bush
Zanzibar → Nyerere National Park → Zanzibar
Your day begins early with a pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar Island and transfer to the airport for your scheduled morning flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival at Mtemere Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and begin a full-day game drive in a 4×4 open safari vehicle. Explore the diverse landscapes of Nyerere, home to a rich variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the rare African wild dogs. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the natural beauty and sounds of the African wilderness. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, return to the airstrip for your afternoon flight (approximately 16:00 hrs) back to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
